I suggest printing them out and making notes, highlight key items, etc on them to give you a better understanding of the laws.

Also, if you're reading a good book and it mentions a U.S. law, or custom, maybe just make a mental note that it may be different near you....then ask other investors what their thoughts are....The networking will do more for you than you can imagine!!! 

I currently work I  hospitality which gives me a lot of insight in building positive, ongoing customer relationships, and proper negotiating and sales tactics.

Highlight those things that are for the business and put in a drawer(file for the business) then on the other set highlight everything else that is a personal write off for taxes.

This comes with time and customers I know but Any advice is greatly :)  I hope to come across some of you one day in our field.

Thanks for your assistance.Lavaud,I'll be the odd one out in this thread and suggest a Windows laptop, they tend to be cheaper and, because I build computers, I like the freedom/ability of being able to shop around / customize it to my specific liking.With that, it really depends on what you'll be doing with the laptop, ie: basic email, MS office, BP or video rendering / editing for your listings-walk through, future rehabs etc ?
