I was stationed at Bragg and lived near Sanford another 6 years after I got out of the Army.  

We have Indian State Bank, HSBC (HK & Shanghai Bank Corp), Russian banks, of course most Canadian banks have local presence and they lend money to those with an oversea account.

I'm a stay at home mom with two little guys and my husband is active duty army.

There is usually some kind of fixed rate mortgage I can obtain (80% of purchase price, 70% of ARV, etc) or some kind of ARM.  I

The vast army of compliance professionals that are now necessary get paid the same regardless of your purchase price or loan amount. 

A little about myself: I am employed by the US Army, have a SFH in the Maryland College Park area, and I enjoy the time that I get to be with my family.

Looking for advice and help to purchase a home in the Area. I will be moving with in 3-4 years and would like to make it a rental property at that point.

Or people PCS'ing, but not ready to buy yet and all their stuff is in storage and they don't feel like moving things twice (I had an Army pilot who paid more than double the going rent rate because of this).  

I went the Green to Gold route in the Army and was the best thing I had ever done.
