There are more laws ready to be passed this legislative season. 

If it's not fair contact your local legislators and spend as much time as you want lobbying to change it.

I do not believe there is any accompanying legislation for residential landlords.

Things seem to get more complicated from a taxation standpoint every year.I have heard rumblings about our legislators simplifying things.

I haven't had this issue, but I'm so fed up with Seattle's anti-landlord legislation, my Seattle properties are now going STR.

But when their lease was up, I wanted out of CA rentals, as they were passing legislation on rent control..

There was also some recent legislation in Colorado that does not allow any Title companies to be involved with a sub-to transaction that involves an FHA or VA loan.
