But if your goal is to pay some properties off and consolidate your debt you could do a cash out refi of this "flip" property instead of selling it and use the cash to complete paying off the property you are considering while holding the "flip" property and renting it for a while.

I also think Crested Butte has some opportunity with the new builds in town and walkable condos.I echo your sentiments about Tahoe.Others I would add are Big Sky, MT and Sun Valley, ID.Though all of these have seen pretty crazy appreciation the last 5 years, the ski pass consolidation is helping make out of state resorts more appealing to all skiers.

I do not believe this is temporary and commercial RE is going to go through a lot of consolidation and revaluation.In my opinion the shift is likely to be similar to what you saw in the taxi industry when UBER came along.

If you could, well... then you obviously could sell your interest after some legal filings, as an apartment.I contend that the "consolidators" (those people willing to commit capital to "buy in" to a fractured condo ownership, with intent to consolidate) could (if successful) be the best game in town.

The only other type of thread that gets shut down (but that Josh did not mention) is a fresh but duplicated "guru" review thread - but in that case the thread is re-directed to the existing discussion so that any particular guru does not have the review broken up into too many different threads (a good thing to consolidate these IMO).
