Agency Debt.

Hi, I'm in contract for a 3bd SFH and the insurance agency the provider has linked me to is giving me a quote that's over 3 times the estimate on the pro-forma (~1.2 K per year).

Well I told my agent to cancel my buyer agency agreement because I wasn’t interested in investing in Kansas anymore but was very unwilling to do that.

We have an in house lender at Keller Williams called Keller Mortgage that does it for half the cost but you have to use a KW agent to use them.That's good to know Jordan, I didn't know some real estate agencies also acted as lenders.

The taxes apparently  increased because  my father had exemptions that ended with his death, but I did a still-timely last-minute filing for homestead  exemption in that state (Florida) as I had lived there and in that house just prior to the sale, and the title company  would  have had the final calculation  available  from the state taxing agency.

If other owners have the same problem, it may be a great opportunity to create a "resident agency"!

If they refuse, let them know you plan to file a complaint with the appropriate state agency.

With our credit reporting agency, they have 2 reports that I pull all the time.

The only way to find out for sure is to talk with the local government agencies.
