The is a great cheap way to to learn the process but the time commitment wears on you. 2+ months of working my 8-5 desk job and then 5-11 remodel and 12 hour weekend days will wear on you and your relationships.

Your rental property might sit vacant for part of the year (versus having a long-term, lease-committed tenant).

Obviously it will take more of a time commitment. 

Just like any other population, there are crappy people who don’t pay their bills, lie, create fake orders to break their lease, and commit felonies.

But don't worry, we have zero intention of living apart or committing any type of mortgage fraud.
