It seems the toilet was leaking, we asked him to turn the water off from the water supply and it stopped leaking.We will be meeting a plumber at the house tomorrow to see what is going on, from reading some posts on here, I have to mention he is a larger person, so he may have unseated the toilet (?).

May I suggest the following:I am also a general contractor, and if I under estimate the job, i eat it to protect my reputation, but never by 25%, yikes, he probably did not get estimates from his subs.

Had a local plumber hire a registered sex offender and he went in to a woman's house to work on pipes, nothing happened, but when she saw his face on a poster that was handed out later her husband and nearly everyone else quit using that plumber for fear of safety for their wives.

@Brandon Turner Sure I have made mistakes during my almost 2 years of real estate investing.For instance, One time I had called up a plumber to pump out water from crawl space of a HUD home that I had recently purchased.

@Carrie Smukal, If the city has remove the water meter, they will not replace the meter until the home is inspected by them or a licensed plumber at your expense.
