It's such a pain now simply finding an insurance company willing to insure our properties in historic Riverside area of Jacksonville.The most recent issue is that of tree roots in the driveway constituting a "trip and fall" hazard.One company had returned our insurance premium based on "poor access" to water heater even though that problem was specifically resolved at rehab by relocating it to the attic.Another property was deemed uninsurable because it had "aluminum sidings".What is wrong with these insurers?

You’re not wrong but who was able to “force appreciation” in Riverside back circa 2007/2008?

The alternative is to take that money and invest it in areas like Riverside, Inland Empire, Modesto etc, but that would require another loan and the money is getting more expensive as we know it. 

Supply and demand always determines value.Yeah...the the demand is driven by a bunch of people that listen to idiots like Glen Beck and don't know any different.

Lauren: If you want to stick to the SoCal market, I suggest looking inland, in fact, as far as Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

It does boast a nationally recognize hospital (Riverside, which is associated with Rush) so has good healthcare.
