So we did what you suggested: Since he asked to charge total $500, we counter-offered $250 and said that we don't need to see the receipts if it's that amount.He called back yelling at us, saying he called Pros and it's not possible to remove the stain.

Setting up inspections that are really potential buyers.. ( again just flat lying to sellers)this is why this is such a stain on the whole real estate industry.. these are the techniques taught to folks who either lack moral compass or just plain don't care and its all about the benjimans to them.as you know in your state working with anyone is foreclosure the laws are intense on who and what you can do.. does that stop people no..advertising a home bed bath etc that yoiu do not own is basically illegal in all states period.

$50 for for having a barbecue grill on the deck, $25 penalty for melting something onto a stove burner in addition to the cost of cleaning or replacing it, $50 penalty for staining the carpet even after paying for the professional carpet cleaner to remove it, etc.

We added landscaping and added red to the front door to add visual interest.On some units we kept the retro finishes, but this one had damage to the tile and stains on the porcelain that couldn't be removed.

I paint the cabinet interiors semigloss white but am not sure how smart that is and sand (ie, clean) and gel stain the drawer interiors.

@Eric Fung kilz origional oil based primer, seals the walls and you'll never smell it again, and blocks any stains from seeping thru, all my rehabs I always prime everything with kilz before I paint with top coats.

The bad part about furniture is the possibility of it getting stained and ruined so buy cheap and be careful of your selection on color and material.Hope this helps.Jared
