Did you replace the roof (looks a little old in the pics) or any mechanicals, plumbing, etc.?

The home can use a new roof, pressure wash, outside paint and some landscaping. 

Avoid deals where it requires a new roof or foundation, they are most costly.

If it was major work (i.e. re-roof, exterior painting, parking lot resurfacing, etc), I'd notify them as a courtesy. 

so I drove to the property, there explained everything. you can see the sky through the roof, half of house was gone, the windows were boarded up..... it was in a tiny neighborhood, I mean there are only 7 houses in the neigh hood, off a main street.

How old is the roof / water system / elctricity ?

New roof and windows needed along with some minor foundation repairs.

Hi, roof of my house is very old, I was planing to replace it but someone advised me that it's better to have solar roof, so I am confused should I go for simple roof or Solar roof,just wondering if somebody can advise in detail about pros and cons for both of them..Thankshome is in Bayonne, NJ

Can you afford to fix the roof, the A/C, etc? 

I have a rowhouse style property in Washington, DC and the down spout for the back of the roof leads to a drain outside of the basement door.
