I get a background check (credit and criminal) and make certain I get a copy of a driver's license of all adults on the lease.

I have played the real estate game for over 35 years, I used to tell people I have my kids with me is that ok or I can not meet with you unless my kids can come, never turned down by the way, closings, bank meetings, government offices ect. it was a great education watching adults interact.

The general consensus is that this person is a leach & feels no shame admitting that as adults they are unable or unwilling to take care of their responsibilities & feel no guilt passing those responsibilities onto others.

That same very lowball offer that they agreed to sell their house for will be used against you when they (or their adult children if the person is elderly and uninformed) file a lawsuit against you.

And like most young adults my age, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do in my life.

Came in while we were gone and of course went and saw the new adult cat.

My closing attorney that I use has been a real estate attorney his whole adult life, but that's relative as he's my age. 

Hello all:I just finished rehabbing one side of a duplex and have two great tenant candidates.OPTION A: Will pay $1,250 and has no pets.  2 adults and 2 young kids. 

I still run applications on all the students but then also on whatever adults are cosigning for them.

I agree with @Joe Scaparra and see more and more adults working fast food and other jobs normally thought to be a high school/working thru college job.
