A few rentals for a few years is more like playing a slot machine.

Think of it as a 3:2 BJ table game vs pulling a $100 denomination slot.

I am a pet owner and animal lover myself, and I would hate to have to give up one of my pets as they are like family, but sometimes adults have to make adult decisions 

We both just love real estate and helping people - if we can make a living doing it, all the better.

Once all of our mortgage slots are filled up, I might consider buying on a lease option, but we haven't had the opportunity, nor have I actively pursued L/O on the buy side.
