Also remember tiktok guests watch tiktoks on how to score discounts and refunds.With Airbnb I have seen them deplatform hosts for no stated reason, cancel guests day of checkin because one child out of a large group had to go get a cast for breaking an arm, send emails to all guests platform wide stating it is okay to cancel penalty free, cancel all future guests on a friend because a scammer guest claimed bedbugs (even after two independent pros confirmed none were on property) and list goes on.

And most are not ponzi schemes.Per the SEC and FINRA, some typical signs of a Ponzi scheme are promises of outsized returns (which is necessary to have a Ponzi scheme function since it needs a constant flow of new investors to avoid collapse), promises of impossible things like guaranteed returns and/or failure to disclose the true risk of an investment (to make the claimed high returns seem more plausible), etc.

If you have an insurance claim with renters in the property and a homeowner policy I would expect the claim to be denied.The benefit of landlord insurance is that it will actually cover you, if you try to rent a house out with a typical homeowner policy you are simply not covered (even though you are paying premiums).Insurance is not where you want to go lowest bidder or look to cut corners - it is there to save your behind in the event of a major incident.
