I'd bet the course is an elective and not a core requirement.Seems what you are saying is that the statutory classes required are available at colleges, not surprised, they are here too and college credits are given toward several degrees as a business elective.

You are now starting to see evidence that rent is also decoupling from income.Naturally, this cannot continue, eventually employers will be compelled to relocate, or virtualise, to both afford facilities and retain a productive workforce.The difference with LA and Vancouver is that the average house price in LA is in the $500,000 range; so although both the housing price and wage growth rate in LA or the US may not necessarily be materially different than that of Vancouver, just the average price varaiance of a house in both cities will tend to make Vancouver seem more unaffordable.Housing and its affordability is a serious issue.

Has to do with schools in CA...When you go to the Mid West at least from my personal experience you can get some of this regentrification in the down town cores. but not going to see it out of downtown ever is my guess.

some in the states would be smart enough to figure that out others would be clueless that's why resident hotels do so well they charge by the week.Also cant answer why we have war zones.. could be there are 1 billion guns in the US.. could be so much reliance on social welfare could be there are just lawless people.. don't really know the answer.but it is regional.. and normally started in Urban core settings.. and becomes less acute in smaller towns through out the US>.
