I was told to ask about warranty, look into who's the licensed contractors, and perhaps get a real estate attorney. 

I’ve also taken the step to enhance my involvement in the market by obtaining a real estate license and establishing a property management company.

Simply leave a unit vacant, have your mail sent there, keep the address on your driver's license, and get a roommate to help offset costs.

If my husband (who has a brokers license on the side of his day job) were to broker the RE transaction my Solo 401k purchases, can he take that commission without violating any rules?

I am sure there are other things that would need to be done first.Someone posted about working part-time at a RE or investor's office, and I would be willing to do that for a fixed, short-term, like 6 months or so, but a lot of the job postings require a license.

I like the strategy of bringing on a less experienced agent, or someone who just got their license and trained them yourself to cold call.
