The alternative, what people like the OP seem to be after, is having someone who has laid out that clear, straight-line path A to Z you can follow with all the mistakes of that path taken care of, and a network of people on the exact same path.

It's been no issue building my portfolio with him and I'm hesitant to change this variable.I did get a sweet deal with one company once due to it being an auction deal and you had to use a specific lender (Nationstar I think it was) and I had to write a letter about why I have so many houses, prove that I was moving because of x, y and z, etc.
