I truly believe that passive syndication investing is a team sport - you need others to share information and best practices with. 

This might include identifying specific neighborhoods or property types that you want to focus on, determining your budget and financing options, and setting criteria for evaluating potential properties.Build a team: Real estate investing can be a team sport, so it's important to build a network of professionals who can help you along the way.

And buy and hold real estate investing unlike the stock market is very much an "action sport" in my opinion.

Oh, and sports teams/clubs and extra curriculars will do more for your potential professional network than classes. 

Rural Colorado does not sport large rent returns. 

32 years into real estate investing I now fully appreciate how much real estate is a team sport.  

But large multifamily deals are a team sport, so again it comes back to control...
