@Samantha N.samana is good to invest I do not know if you will build or buy but if you build like how I am doing then you need to be carful with the steep lands they have on the mountains, before you build or buy make sure the title is clean do not buy the acta de venta unless you know the families that is selling the land, samana is very attractive tourist area does not have the boom like punta cana but is attractive and your investment will go a long way.

I pay my house keepers $36/hr to clean the cabin which usually averages 3 hours per cleaning. 

Although, I think it would drive up the cleaning fees and, in turn, the airbnb rates to have cleaning/PM companies that establish and maintain a higher standard of work.

I have managed my rentals on a very basic spreadsheet (poorly managed) and it is time to clean up my accounting and legal structures.Can anyone opine on a cheap and effective software for the accounting side of the business? 

I do not feel as though the pet fee they paid means they don't have to keep floors clean, I needed to pay a professional carpet cleaner to try to remove the dog smell.

That way, if you cannot sell/assign the contract and then cannot work out the deal you want with the foreclosing bank, you can get out of the contract cleanly. 

Also have to remember this just prints the walls, you still have all the MEP rough in etc. to be done. 10+ years ago our stick built home was panelized and it took them a day to frame each floor.
