I dont have an answer but its an issue and with the younger generation forgoing the trades I suspect its not going to get better .If I look at my Oregon trades its heavy to Hispanic  with Russian eastern block doing all of our flooring and hard surfaces in the home. 

Other than the bank is slower to respond than individuals most of the time.Lawyers are used in eastern states to close transactions.

Then there is eastern Jackson county (Blue springs, Lee Summit) and the southern part of Johnson county is pretty good for the Kansas side, but that is usually very pricey.

I would love to hear a locals take on the real estate climate around the eastern side of Charlotte.

Most of my recent SFH deals that I've purchased for my own portfolio or brokered for others are located in southern Colorado Springs around Security/Widefield, or eastern Colorado Springs between Powers Blvd and Falcon.
