Consider not being able to predict maintenance costs for the 2 year rental period.

In 2012, CSC predicted that data is estimated to grow by 4300% by 2020.

I can't predict the future, or I would use those numbers.  

I want my investments to have predictable demand, and other investors seem to like throwing cash at that approach.

My prediction is that it won't.  

Personally, I'm always curious if the person predicting the crash has sold 50%+ of their assets.

A 45 day lock is more expensive than a 30 day lock since banks can better predict what actual rates might be at closing from what I've been told.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I personally do not try to predict the short term appreciation but I am confident that the long term appreciation will be greater than inflation and greater than most other locales.The reason I passed on this RE was the tightness of the land versus structure. 

When I'm representing a buyer and I'm up against one of these agents, I walk all over them - and my buyers love me for it.The fundamental issue is that home sales are simply not mechanistic and predictable.
