Stability will ALWAYS provide abundance to honest, hard working, and passionate people.

The only one rebuttal I would have is about the absence of "white sandy beaches" not sure if this is a relative perception matter but all our island formations are formed from coral and other calcium carbonate materials.

I think there are very few occasions a where someone should settle for a return that low but I think you should explore your options a bit more as those opportunities to take 4% return are abundant.

I try to keep an abundance Vs. scarcity mindset. 

How successful does wholesaling work in rural areas (population < 20000 in the county) where the real estate is about 80 miles from a major city with an abundance of wholesale deals being made?

Realize that there is an abundance of business and a HUGE demand for quality so there is plenty for everyone). - DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR BEING PROFITABLE.  

I guess it would depend on whether one has an abundance mentality or not, but I'm really just asking what common practice is and if I should think twice before asking an investor to put me in touch with some good brokers with nothing to offer in return.

I have found them to be very abundant mindset and actually have integrity versus just saying it.
