Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone,Jerry W, I've only gone all in on the first hand once, but I did have the nut flush and there were no pairs on the board so...Jeff S, Eventually I would like to buy and hold, but I see myself rehabbing 10 or 20 properties between buy and holds so that I can buy them cash.I just started working with my first RE agent last week, and I plan on meeting at least 2 more very soon.

I didn't mention that now, in Honolulu, it's never crossed my mind to carry anything except an extra pair of shorts and a beach towel...or that with my hair trigger reflexes I pepper sprayed a cat that scared the %@% out of me once!

But when you flip a house, the IRS considers the transaction to be no different than retailing any other product (in other words, buying and selling a house is no different than buying and selling a pair of shoes).
