i am unfamiliar with your local market but up in the North East, New England in particular, my brokerage hosts a lot of REI meet ups every month.

If you just find someone random person from those websites, you would be very lucky to find someone that understands REI.If you need a referral, happy to introduce you. 

Hello All, I took another look at their website and was trying to understand the difference between the individual Notes and the Funds.Am I correct in my thinking that ONLY Accredited Investors can do the Note Funds, while Individuals can do the individual notes?

As a co-host for short term rentals, you may not need a license as long as you're not crossing over into activities that could be considered brokerage activities like handling any contracts, collecting rents, doing any accounting, approving tenants, etc.

One thing you might think of doing is having and promoting your own website to avoid the exhorbitant fees charged by the third party sites such as Expedia, Booking.com and Air BnB.  

At my age, I wonder if it’s too late to "get rich slow," as is the case with most real estate investing.I’m curious: is there a section of this website or a community that focuses on late-start investors?
