Type the @ symbol and then the first three letters of their name.

(Unless someone setup their profile name that way) Type the @ symbol and start typing the name.

Maybe consider a key symbol from the seal (county bird, or color or something) and implement that instead.

@John S.John, if you type the “@“ symbol, then without any spaces start spelling the name of the person you want to respond to you’ll see their name in a pop down menu, simply select them.

Although some think it's clever, you don't want it to significantly impact your success.First, the term "Realtor" is copyrighted and it is unlawful to use as part of your company name, it also requires the ® symbol when used.  

Take a look at the ticker symbol MO and the history for the last 20 years plus.
