Does anyone have experience with a property manager for a STR in the Ft.

Bought and onboarded the property in 2022.

One property went for almost $100,000, before increased interest in real estate investing, that property would have sold for a high of $50,000 maybe less. 

The reason I post this here is because I got totally different answers from two CPAsHere is the story:I bought the house as investment property and run it as STR for the last two years.

I'm curious to hear how other property managers and landlords are navigating this.Here in College Station, TX, I don't accept Section 8 applicants.

Utilized a low down payment loan, maxed seller credit, tax proration and closed on the 1st of the month to maximize my cash and acquire this property What was the outcome?

@Brett K. we manage in Class C areas, so have to deal with this a lot.Options:1) Boardup - pretty useless as easy to rip the off and advertises the property as vacant.2) Armor Guard door frame reinforcement with temp double-key deadbolts.

Not only cities but property types as well. 

Now if and when there is ever a problem at the property , they will give a friendly call
