My thoughts from Connecticut, which is a very tenant friendly state.In the minds of Tenants, Mediators, Judges, Housing they don't look at it as a theft of anything, in fact the times I have gone to court.

The one time I had to take someone to court, the gal did challenge and we had mediation at court and worked out a deal.

She got to work right away to resolve and we both agreed that going to mediation court costs us lot more money and time than settling this case and getting the tenant out.

The band has noise proofed the basement as best they can, but I guess they were still not happy about it.Now I gotten a letter from her lawyer saying if they don't stop they will sue, they've tried to ask for mediation but the neighbor just wants them to stop and if not will ask for monetary damages. 

My contract is good until the end of month and I really don't want to mediate or pursue any legal action if I don't have to.

But the bid was about $5k to re-mediate but we didn't get the house.

Any controversy between the parties hereto involving the construction or application of any of the term, covenants, or conditions of this Agreement or any SOW will, upon the written request of one party served on the other, be submitted first to informal mediation and then to arbitration.
