I lost my 15 year career as a flight attendant for a major airline in 2011 due to illness.  

The house is under a flight path and it might provide noise insulation as well.

This lead me to look at a handful of cities, in which I started calling RE agents in and booking flights to see houses.After visiting several towns, I put two houses under contract tin Columbia, Missouri (February 2016).

It is a short direct flight from New York.  

I was travelling for 5 days a week, and only home for a day and a half(flight out Sunday night).  

Their actual material cost are 20%, this is also a straight install, if you have too many corners, flight of stairs, use glue, tacks strips, floor preparation of any degree, etc, they are always extra; they rely on those factors to regain their money too.

I spent about 50k up front getting those 300 people in the seats.. we Killed it.But we did not sell any property site unseen.. of course different price points pretty much everything was 200 to 400k .... and its only 77 minute flight from SFO OAK or SJO ..

You are only an hour flight or so to Tucson.

For an LA investor I like Phoenix because it's only an hour flight away, and man, the Landlord rules are 100 times better than LA.  

I have even flown to other states to meet with clients.. ( of course I had talked to them on the phone. but it was big enough timber deals that I wanted a face to face and whats 1k bucks in flight car and hotel if I was going to make a few hundred grand on the deal.. its simply the cost of doing business. as this is all I do .I never did not close the deal when I made this unique effort..
