My take on the issue is this:People who aren't financially intelligent or people who consistently make impulsive and foolish decisions with their financial matters will definitely benefit from Dave Ramsey's message of being disciplined and saving etc. 

What I hear in this is impulsivity.

Learn about the biz from them and then it's sustainable, not impulse.

Not sure if you are familiar with Freud, but the Id is the impulse center of the brain. 

I suspect we'll still see prices drop more and the impulse buyers will disappear, then I can start getting serious again. 

. ● Self-Regulation: Self-regulation involves controlling our emotions and impulses, even in challenging situations.

We are seeing a rotation to more “impulse” reservations for dates within the next few weeks.  

That may be a better time to find what you're really looking for instead of making an impulse purchase and possibly regretting it.

The intent is to take away any impulse use of the money.
