Recently, Colorado Governor Polis signed Executive Order D 2020 051, which includes the following action:I direct all landlords of rental properties to notify tenants in writing of federal protections against eviction and foreclosures at each property, including those provided by Sec. 4024 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Public Law No. 116-136.Just curious if anyone knows if DORA or a similar agency is working on a form in which we are supposed to provide formally to our tenants, or if a simple email will suffice?

The Governor just (5/7/2020, 12pm EST) that moratorium is extended through August, no late fees, and security deposit can be applied to rent and paid back "over time".

Case in Point: Vacation rentals are currently banned statewide in Florida by the Governor as part of the pandemic response.Short term rentals are much more management and labor intensive (you are turning units over 50+ times per year on a weekly rental, compared to once every 1-2 years on a long term rental).

I don't believe you can oust a tenant solely for non-payment per Governor Polis's remarks on April 30th; so you may be stuck with them for the foreseeable future.

We all saw the Emergency Rules of California Rules of Court, dated April 6, 2020 stays all judicial proceedings to foreclose a mortgage or deed of trust, including any action for a deficiency.These rules will remain in effect until 90 days after the Governor declares that the state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic is lifted, or until amended or repealed by the Judicial Counsel.Now, there is emergency bill AB 828 which is pending but what it will do is enforce a moratorium on foreclosures.

Here in NY the governor just extended the "no eviction"  law until August 20th and I have a few tenants playing that card. depending how hard hit your state is, we are all going to potentially lose money that we may never get back.
