Worst case is I can still rent them as furnished room rentals, or rent the whole house as a furnished rental Check your regulations before you give up.

I had an empty LTR that was unfurnished and they paid an extra 650/month and also paid to furnish it for a 6 month rental. 

We're also wondering if FEMA sets the price based on SF, furnishings, etc.

But really it's about knowing the right furnishings, photos and listing description/headline to best position yourself.

I'm actually interviewing PMs and CO Hosts this week, and Handyman for installation of all the furnishings set to show up at the property in January.

Strategies like furnished mid-term rentals, renting by rooms, mid-term/short term rentals or creative mixes of these can be considered too.

Also you could search Zillow or Airbnb/VRBO/Furnished Finder if you will be renting as an MTR or STR
