i know this is kind of an old thread, but just wanted to add a few things here: 1. yes you will have to go through permitting process. you will also register this as a SFH with the county.2. you will need to contact DMV to deregister this as a mobile home. 3. you will have to make sure you remove the Axel and the wheels  under the home and make preparations to fix the property to the foundation you already have. currently dealing with similar situation in GA, hence researched a bit to find out the process. 

I only needed to verify them and generally their conclusions, but there was no sense in reinventing the wheel from scratch. 

Essentially the reason I was successful in my first year of real estate was not reinventing any wheels.

While I can get information on this question online, such as brick is obviously more durable and long lasting have a better resale value than vinyl, I'm still struggling to make the decision on which property to go with.There is a quadplex vinyl exterior property for 210 per unit versus brick exterior property with wooden deck in the backy for 230 per unit in middle Tennessee.

You can definitely get cheaper ones, but we've had durability issues with really cheap ones, and even a lot of them arriving with cracks in the surround.

It's very durable vinyl plank flooring, I swear there's rubber in there as well.

Your going to spin your wheels dealing with agents and wholesalers.
