In the HUD inspection report it said plumbing system and sewer system are tested with air compressor and would not hold 40 psi.

I just had TWO compressors go bad in as many days!

I paid $600 plus for a 2 1/2 ton electric compressor unit.

I put a cage on the a/c compressor that I have because its brand new.

The unit will be working hard trying to get the humidity out of the home.The new High Efficiency air conditioning units may be partly to blame.The Manufacturers use a smaller compressor with a larger outside coil and inside coil to get more efficiency out of the units.This cuts the dehumidifying capacity of the equipment way down.Humidity in our homes is a major concern in our climate.

The unit stopped working and the AC company (I have a maintenance contract on all three) came out and the compressor outside had an electrical arc. 

I've had the same Central Pneumatic air compressor from there for 15 years.Budget friendly saw for sure.Justin
