Take a look at how many foreclosures there are from Soldiers that can't sell once they PCS.

I am an Active Duty Soldier and have had to manage them from out of state in the middle of deployments, field exercises, etc. 

"Be the general" is good advice, but the general has to pay (or get someone else to pay) his foot soldiers. 

We’re two old Soldiers at the end of it all who are in disagreement over this situation.  

Find other soldiers to rent from you, because you know what they can afford and you know you can hold them accountable to the rent.  

Hey @devin, it is good to see young soldier like you that started to take care of yourself early in career. 

I think military housing office has lists of local approved landlords, they have some involvement in the process (don't know what it entails) and the soldier's commander may get involved if they don't pay their bills.

One of the major army bases just closed recently, and all of the soldiers are relocated here. $$$ The only drawback is, I'm having trouble located cash buyers here in the area.
