I was told that homeless/squatters got access into the building somehow and they were seen by an agent who was touring property for their buyer.

I had quite a bit of money saved up from years of traveling and not really paying any rent as I was staying in hotels and accommodations paid for by my tours.

Will you be able to tour properties or attend regular broker meetings that are usually held from 9-5?  

Therefore your buyer pool is generally limited to the most unsophisticated buyers or those who are well capitalized with a lot of cash on hand and can waive the contingencies and effectively complete their diligence on an initial walk through tour of the property.

We also have model units that are available to show via a property tour. 

My husband and I just made a trip down and toured a number of what seemed like attractive options, spanning neighborhoods including Avenida Balboa, Costa del Este, and Clayton (among others).

You're right that the expense/hassle of a trip is worth it relative to the amount of money at stake.A question on that though - in a market where good OM deals hardly last longer than a week - is it really realistic to plan on touring specific properties that I might put an offer on?

A colleague listed this and I had it toured and contracted on the same day.

One of my agents took her on a tour to see B, C and D areas and now she understands why we don't buy in D or even C minus markets.
