As far as access to computers, every public library has free access and anyone under the age of 40 grew up with computers in school.

Careful.. you may want to gets some books at the library and do some reading first. 

I actually picked it up in my grad school library. 

I moved out to the burbs many years ago when my son was young and while it was great for kids I really missed being able to walk to grocery stores and restaurants and the library.

Sometimes they are on the Web and cost money, but if you go down to the county courthouse, there is a PC you can use to look at them for free.
