I'm a real estate investor and active duty Navy officer in Florida, and I'm moving to San Diego in the Fall.

Currently I’m stationed in Florida with the Navy, but I’m from Dayton and my family is still up there, which is what I’m leaning on to make this deal happen.

I am currently serving in the Navy and will be heading to Newport, RI for more training.

I understand that New York is a "lawyer closing state" and that the lawyers are intimately involved in every step of the process and that they generate an abstract of title before the closing, which apparently goes back to the time of the French-Indian Wars.The lawyer we retained to handle the sale will charge $750 for the abstract search and claims it will take 6 weeks to complete.

I'm in the Navy and have been for 15 years.

Navy Federal Credit Union and  I believe most credit unions have similar products.

Im going to have to spend about 500-1000 to get some french drains and catch basins.
