If you want to try lending and do some buy&hold, then 1) find an experienced HML/Agency and lend through them a few times (they should be able to get you a decent return even after fees) & 2) leverage an experienced syndicator and join their deal as a passive investor - you can always learn about syndication through this "back" door if you will, while making some passive income and enjoying tax benefits of buy&hold investing.If you'd like to speak about it further feel free to PM me.Good luck!

We've heard not to go with the inspection agency your realtor recommends, but I tend to lean towards not buying into that. 

These agencies often cover vacant or under-renovation properties.

Did you find a good credit screening agency?

I've read through everything everyone has said, as well as carefully reading through the sales agreement and the final closing papers (that I did not sign but requested from the title agency)...

Some TMPs told me they were tired of paying online travel agency fees and were happy to find Furnished Finder. 

Can anyone recommend an agency?

It does happen, particularly when renting to travel nurses who are at risk of having their contracts shortened by the hospitals or recruiting agencies.
