That's when the DIY craze took off, folks started writing books, and it was the land of milk and honey.  

SimpliSafe sells a lot of different kits with cameras, motion sensors, keypads, etc.

I currently use TenantCloud, which I think works pretty well for self-managing DIY landlords, but it's not meeting the needs of my property management anymore (I manage close to 70 units).

If there is no cost savings don t use containers.Investigate use of ICFs for a build as you can build from foundation to rafters on a DIY basis in less than one week.

They are DIY friendly so you can have a good handyman put it in unlike sheet vinyl where you really want a professional installer.

I am completely okay with tenant issues as I assume most could be solved with a Google or YouTube search on DIY. 

The breakers kept tripping that's main reason why I upgraded the electrical box and a lot of diy handyman special upgrades and repairs throughout the years in this house.

Not something you should DIY with just input from the internet.
