That was the largest part of my financing but in addition I did end up having to ask my older brother to co-sign for me because the underwriters just could not trust the 1099 contractor status given the volatile industry I was in during 2020.

Just trying to think of a creative way to buy it so my mom and brother don't  have to move out.

There's never a wrong time to buy real estate as long as the numbers make sense brother!!

Until you have more than 20-30 properties Quicken (quickbooks little brother) is overkill for this.

We rented a home to three adult brothers just over a year ago and just signed the lease renewal. 

Builders like Lennar, DR Horton, and Toll Brothers are best for BTR in Dallas.
