If/as you become more successful - however you define success - you will find a) you will have trouble relating to people who were paddling in the same river as you, and b) some people will shoot torpedos at your canoe.

Depends on location.1/1s down here in south Florida can be in high demand from younger professionals as well as the retired.my 1/1s are within 80' of a access point to the Fort Lauderdale New River that leads to the ocean, so I have high demands from single tenants who comes with paddle boards and kayaks.

We realize that we can fine tune and peal off most of our work loadIts like trying to get past the break when your surfing.... you can paddle your *** off or you can take the rip tide and be out waiting for waves in minutes.

I was up my own creek without a paddle until one day it clicked: grow the 'lump' up and take some responsibility for where I've put myself.Unreasonably long story short I coded a spreadsheet that I still use to this day for my budget.

I know its a bit scary but fear is just because of the unknowns .. educate yourself and learn from others mistakes .. then jump into the deep end of the pool and start doing the doggie paddle .. another great way to start is learning how to wholesale properly..

I'm opening up a new STR on a speedboat-friendly lake in Indiana, and I'm thinking about including kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes (there's a great 20 mile paved biking path next to our property).
