In the end, aligning with the purpose of the people who run the workshop or with the program that "feels right" will be your best bet.

I used to teach a monthly "estimation" workshop at my rehab properties to teach new investors how to inspect and estimate repair costs, but unfortunately, this is a VERY location specific thing -- costs vary wildly around the country, as do the most common types of repairs.

Meetup is tough to navigate so far, seems either like a lot of spam or online only workshops.  

I would love to get to together and workshop some leads, underwriting, and ideas with you sometime.
