From reading some of your blogs, you appear to be a painter, handyman, property manager, and book keeper just to name a few.

The job could be only painting and a GC Hired a painter to do it, or it could be a curtain installation or hang a door, fix a window, who knows.

I believe I'm in compliance with properly paying my couple resident employees who do a few hours of work for me, but I'm a bit concerned about what they are going to dig into and how much they will want to know about the small businesses I contract for various jobs (landscaping, painters, handyman, electrician, etc).  

Renovations took 2 full months and about 8 different sub-contractors including landscapers, painters, an electrician, wood floor re-finishers, granite installers, cabinet makers and carpet installers.

Do you have a painter and have you asked him what to do?

I get replacement sub already on speed dial.  1) Trash out w/Safeguard - 1 day2) Demo -2 days max.3) interior Painters/Exterior painters - 2 separate crews working same time

At that age, it was more cleaning or honing my skills as a painter lol but throughout growing up and then working on my house I gained a lot of knowledge in the "rehab" aspect.

I asked, "don't you have a team of electricians, plumbers, painters, etc...?

And with the market being as competitive as it is where I'm located, it's becoming quite more difficult now.I've always been the entrepreneurial type; I've ran a painting franchise (College Pro Painters), my own smaller remodeling business, a lawn mowing franchise, student rentals, etc. etc.
