What Advantages Do I Get By Receiving My Real Estate License?

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if it is important for me to get a real estate license even if I am just starting out in investing for flips and buy and hold rentals in Michigan?

Also, If I do have my real estate license, is that enough to get a job as a real estate agent at a real estate company? This is something I would like to pursue in the near future, as I am going to need a full-time job for a while until I can hopefully go full-time with my own real estate investing.

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

@Levi Painter read the below link (also on my blog). This will answer the majority of your questions. Personally I might wait until you are buying at least 2-3 or more properties a year to make it worth while. I am also local in GR if you need any help.
