I currently have no debt.As you might know, real estate in Switzerland is quite costy and I also feel like it is not a good idea for now (taxes).I was thinking of playing it "high risk, high rewards", by those, I mainly mean eastern European countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and as a second idea, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, even though they are next to some bully, they are in NATO, so should be ok, I guess.I know some of those countries do not allow foreigners to get a mortgage loan (Lithuania at least) and some countries have high interest rate (Romania, 7%).Here are my two questions: Does anyone have experience with those countries?
