This is how the majority of society (every society) works.You don't train for a marathon by hanging out with people that hate to run or that only like to run 1-2 miles at a slow, easy jog.

It's too bad we've gotten to this point as a society when we have to worry so much about these things.

Though I do believe us humans are having an adverse effect on the global climate I don't think it's going to cause a mass migration of people to move north anytime soon like 10 or 15 years, maybe 50 years down the road if some of those extreme climate model forecasts end up true and society sits and does nothing to improve the situation from now to then.
