Can i have present a new lease agreement to the tenant since the present lease was not signed by the tenant and i but between the tenant and the previous owner.Would a lease amendment be another option, can this option be put forward while the present lease is still activeThank you for your help

As a property owner, with a rental license, I hadn't been given notification of adopted city amendment, and honestly was surprised at what it all entails as I was trying to find out occupancy regulations for a 6 6 bedroom single family home..

I explained I wasn't interested in "taking a ride up with him", the home has been uninhabited for nearly 6 years in a harsh ND climate, it has some mold and minor water damage, some asbestos tile, the tax assessment for mowing and snow removal annually is 1200$ not including all other associated carrying costs and that I already have a relationship with the home owner and they are willing to amend the purchase agreement and close... easy peasy.
