@Jay Hinrichs might have some good input on this because he was right in the thick of things during that time. it took a while during the GFC but yes mortgages were modified by the millions. 

This particular tile is 7/16 thick so a lot less weight than graniteSteve,  did the whole kitchen, about 45 square feet for under $500 and never requires sealing

Use this figure for your roads, water, sewer, electric.Just making the following up:Road- 25 ft wide, 6 inches thick, before curbs. 

You have movement if tile is cracking.Have heard on other boards the magic thickness of  subfloor is AT LEAST 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" is much better. 

Increasing the thickness of the drywall means there are at least two areas where the density disrupts the waves a bit more than normal. quite rock qorks because the material makes it harder for the wave to transfer not simply because it is thicker.

You just have to have thick skin.

Its sometimes hard to see when you're in the thick of generating revenue.
