I'm now considering expanding my real estate ventures into building custom homes, but I know this is an entirely different beast between the required capital, learning curve, time committment, etc. 

Primary host with brand account + co-host with personal account-Pros: Could continue to scale and then sell all listings & account together as a business rather than strictly real estate assets (more valuable with the 10 cabin property than with the SFH STRs).

No need to invest out of state, when you are in one of the best places in the world to invest in real estate. 

Real estate investing requires a good deal of research, so build your arsenal and over time you'll be an old pro. 

Real estate agents are not highly regulated in Costa Rica as opposed to North America.
