I live in Bastrop and it is gaining momentum.

As mentioned above, many of these areas have already been established a while back, so they have their own momentum, and don't need the economic steam as much to continue rolling.

Hey @John Paul Whaley I think I'd side with you on this with the duplex, getting that first deal done to build momentum. 

Will that ruin any momentum or have any negative effects do you think?

People managent and learning to effectively delegate is a critical skill that investors must develop.  

I attribute The growth to the momentum that was built on that first deal!

Upon achieving this, my itch to dive back into learning about and eventually investing in real estate is back in a BIG way.A small bit on my current momentum... 

If so, start small and create momentum so that leads will flow through every month.

I'm working through it...each day, doing something to keep my momentum going and my proverbial pedal to the metal!!
