My husband says that it is not possible to add a dishwasher if we don't move the washing machine (which will require jack-hammering up the cement floor and moving plumbing and all that -- we have a plumber friend who will help, but the cost and time involved will still be great) It might be worth mentioning that the college has said it was considering housing adjunct professors or married students there.QUESTIONS:Will the college expect to have dishwashers?

He has an interesting power washing niche he got into & we never turned him down on any future loans.As far as buying high we have watched a lot of tax lien properties go for way beyond value just because the buyer wants to live in it or thinks they got a deal.

Many of them were under $300 for the pair, some even well under that.In one of the three houses I will be putting up for sale soon, I was thinking of putting in a "laundry room" in the basement, just because its an old brick basement that even when its all cleaned out, still doesn't look like anywhere you'd want to spend ANY time at all, even just to load and unload your laundry.

Things usually take longer than planned, so factor in some bumper time.For example, with our recent hot water heater failure, we had to replace the floor covering (tore off three layers of vinyl flooring) in both the laundry and adjacent kitchen.

Turned out the tenant's brother-in-law had replaced the washing machine and didn't use a clamp down the washing machine water exhaust hose.
